Complaining or Feeling Frustration

Have you found yourself complaining? Feeling frustrated?

It’s a sign that it’s time to tune in.

We all do it sometimes. It’s not a good feeling place.

So, why do we do it?

Complaining allows us to vent.

It lowers the emotional overwhelm. Brings down the boil to a simmer.

However, if doesn’t bring resolution or growth to the situation.

In fact, it keeps us stuck because it takes enough of the edge off the discomfort we’re feeling to just leave it as it is.

You stay in the same spot emotionally. You feel emotional discomfort and you take actions that take the edge off and you feel better until you don’t again and you take action to take the edge off and…

Can you see where this is going?

If you stay in the same spot emotionally, then your life tends to stay in the same place.

If you want better, then when you hear yourself complaining (even if it’s just to yourself) or you feel frustration, take it for the invitation it is to check out what’s going on inside of you and to reclaim your power.

Go ahead, lift that hood, and explore.
