Choosing Self-Growth

People talk all the time about how hard it is to work on yourself.

That’s not my view.

Personally, I think it’s much harder not to.

Over the years, I’ve seen many people step away from conscious awareness. Choosing not knowing.

Usually out of fear of what they might find in themselves. Or what might change.

They stay stuck repeating the same cycles again and again. And again. (and yeah, we all do this at least in some areas.

Of course, some change and growth happens for them. It’s just slow.

That looks cringe-worthy painful to me.

I’m grateful for all the things about me that have me wired for growth.

I’ve hit lots of walls during the process.

And sure, I know that I still have heaps to do. Plenty to grow.

I say, bring it on.

I like easy. But not if easy means staying stuck.

I crave fulfilling. I want to seek my potential and eliminate the things holding me back.

I choose next level.

Growth takes awareness. Reflection. Commitment.

Maybe that’s work.

But I wouldn’t have it any other way.
