A Richer Kind of Living and Working

Developing as a person is important to you. You’ve already invested in personal development – and reaped benefits in your work and personal life.

Now you’re ready for a new level:

Less internal struggle. More peace. Greater focus, alignment and consistency.
A good mind: inner wisdom and clear thinking. Visionary leadership.
A feeling of belonging. A sense of connection to something larger than yourself.

Higher Mindfulness is for leaders who want to function from potential and possibility so they can enjoy a richer quality of living and working.

If you’ve heard of mindfulness, you probably know it emphasizes being ‘in the present.’

However, our consciousness is complex. There is no single present moment. Instead, Higher Mindfulness focuses on increasing awareness.

Awareness is a super power. Without it, you’re stuck in autopilot. Things that hold you back remain invisible.

Awareness gives you choice and power. You’re able to move away from frantic, reactive and fear-based functioning. You start seeing how you’ve kept yourself small and step out of those boxes. You improve relationships. You begin to grasp where you’ve put ‘human rules’ (other people’s agendas) above your deeper intelligence and values.

Awareness is essential to becoming your authentic self and living deeply this life.

Higher Mindfulness also takes a positive view of the self. In our culture, we malign certain emotions like anger, fear, shame, jealousy and hurt. We disparage the ego, ‘mental chatter’, vulnerability and things like the ‘pain body.’

Yet, every time you cleave off a part of you and cast it as bad guy, you initiate an inner struggle against yourself. It’s a battle you’ll never win.

As you embrace yourself, growth becomes simpler and faster. It’s like coming home. Living feels more graceful. You stop accomplishing from ‘push’, so your energy and presence increase. Your trust grows and your connection to inner wisdom becomes more natural. And you finally have time to turn your attention to bigger goals beyond just putting out fires.

Connection is likewise a key aspect of Higher Mindfulness. It starts with connection to self. It’s easy to lose pieces of yourself in the busyness of living. The pressures. The push and pull. The limited mindsets adopted when too young to know better.

All you have to give in life is of yourself. If you haven’t filled yourself up, then what you have to give is a trickle.

Connecting means truly acknowledging that place deep within you that longs to be fulfilled. Reclaiming inner power. Filling yourself up. Belonging.

Lastly but certainly not least, Higher Mindfulness is about a sense of connectedness with something greater than you. As that connection grows, your world shifts. You don’t perceive things the same way. Inspired by greater purpose, limitations are easier to transcend, and latent capacities come alive. And there’s more joy. You play in the mysteries of this life, at the edge of potential and possibility.

And the best part is, the effects are permanent! I no longer hold that anger and hate for that individual.

Thank you so much Catherine for all your help, I could not have done it without you.”

“The most powerful elements of the workshop were the exercises that revealed the culture of our organization -both negative and positive, strengths and weaknesses, what we have to offer that is unique.

It really expanded many of my narrow perspectives around branding, supporters, and marketing. These exercises revealed things we assume, take for granted or don’t see. Hearing from others on topics that I have an engrained perspective about was very revealing.

It opened all of our eyes to critical branding/ marketing/organizational issues we haven’t being paying enough attention too or understand very well. I definitely saw the importance/value of creativity as a fundamental part of our work.”
